PA Foreign Ministry says Israeli violations claimed lives of 33,000 women and girls over two years

Wednesday 26-November-2025

RAMALLAH, (PIC)

The Palestinian Authority’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has said that over the past two years, more than 33,000 women and girls have died as a result of Israel’s ongoing violations in the occupied Palestinian territories.

“The Palestinian women are facing the harshest forms of discrimination and oppression in the modern world,” the foreign ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.

The statement was released by the ministry on the occasion of the “International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women,” observed annually on November 25.

“The Israeli occupation regime carries out a wide range of systematic violations against Palestinian women, including genocide, on-site executions, enforced disappearances, arbitrary arrests including administrative detention, as well as torture, sexual violence, home demolitions, land grab, and growing settler terrorism, in addition to policies of starvation and intimidation,” the ministry said.

The ministry also accused Israel of intentionally targeting women’s health facilities and depriving thousands of women of access to critical healthcare.

“These violations persist as the world champions the call to ‘Unite to End Digital Violence Against Women and Girls,’” the ministry underlined.

The ministry urged the international community to necessarily take action to ensure the protection of Palestinian women and put an end to the systematic aggression against them.

Gaza aid collapse deepens as UN agencies warn of deadly cold, escalating humanitarian catastrophe

Wednesday 26-November-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

Two major humanitarian alerts issued on Tuesday and Wednesday underscored the accelerating collapse of living conditions in the Gaza Strip, where tens of thousands of displaced Palestinians are enduring freezing temperatures, flooding, and a rapidly deteriorating humanitarian situation.

The UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) warned that thousands of forcibly displaced families are struggling to find safe shelter as a new cold front approaches. In a post on X, the agency said tens of thousands of people have nothing more than improvised makeshift tents to protect them from the cold, stressing the urgent need for additional shelter materials and basic humanitarian supplies.

According to UNRWA, more than 79,000 displaced Palestinians are packed into 85 shelters across the territory, where humanitarian conditions continue to worsen as winter conditions intensify, posing heightened risks to children, women, and the elderly.

Stephane Dujarric, spokesperson for the UN secretary-general, cautioned that thousands of displaced families are at serious risk of flooding inside structurally weak shelters, noting that worsening weather conditions are putting residents “in great danger.” He said Israeli restrictions continue to impede relief operations and block the entry of essential aid.

Heavy rainfall accompanying Tuesday’s weather system caused widespread flooding in southern Gaza, submerging dozens of tents in the al-Mawasi area of Khan Yunis and further amplifying warnings of an imminent large-scale humanitarian disaster.

UN and humanitarian agencies estimate that Gaza faces an enormous shelter deficit, with nearly 300,000 tents and pre-fabricated units urgently needed after two years of widespread destruction of civilian homes, infrastructure, and public facilities.

In a separate appeal issued Tuesday, the Palestinian NGO Network urged international human rights and humanitarian organizations, as well as governments worldwide, to formally designate Gaza a “humanitarian disaster zone” and take immediate action to protect civilians and end the blockade.

The network called for rapid delivery of tents and supplies to rehabilitate shelters, along with immediate food and relief assistance. It emphasized the need to allow civil defense teams, medical personnel, and local and international humanitarian organizations to operate without obstruction and demanded an end to Israeli restrictions on the entry of essential goods.

The network cited recent international reports indicating that more than 90% of Gaza’s population is suffering from malnutrition due to severe food shortages, unsafe water, and the collapse of basic services under continuous genocide-related attacks and daily military operations.

Meanwhile, the organization “Jewish Voice” reported Tuesday that Israel violated the ceasefire agreement 500 times over a span of 44 days, asserting that “the genocide has not stopped” despite the truce announced on October 9. Gaza’s Government Media Office documented 497 Israeli violations as of last Saturday. The Israeli occupation forces are accused of repeated breaches that continued to endanger civilians.

Since October 7, 2023, Gaza has faced a campaign widely described by Palestinian and international organizations as an Israeli genocide, encompassing mass killing, starvation, destruction, displacement, and arrests in defiance of international appeals and binding orders by the International Court of Justice to halt attacks.

Local data indicate that the war has resulted in more than 239,000 people martyred or injured, most of them women and children, in addition to over 11,000 missing and hundreds of thousands displaced and facing famine-like conditions. Large portions of Gaza’s cities and infrastructure have been destroyed.

UN: Genocide in Gaza has erased 69 years of development and collapsed the economy

Wednesday 26-November-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

A new set of UN findings has revealed a catastrophic collapse in Gaza’s development and economy, warning that the Israeli genocide has wiped out nearly seven decades of progress and pushed the territory to the brink of non-existence.

Francesca Albanese, the UN special rapporteur on human rights in the occupied Palestinian territory, said a fresh UN report shows the scale of destruction unleashed since the Israeli genocide began in October 2023.

Albanese wrote on X that the devastation amounts to “the worst economic collapse ever recorded,” stressing, “This is not a war. It is genocide.”

The report, issued by the UN Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), concludes that 69 years of human-development gains have been erased as health systems, schools, housing, infrastructure and even banking networks were destroyed.

According to the summary published by Albanese, the devastation “unleashed consecutive economic, humanitarian, environmental and social crises, pushing the occupied Palestinian territory from under-development into complete ruin.”

UNCTAD warns that rebuilding Gaza will require more than $70 billion and may take decades, a process that will leave the Strip dependent on large-scale, sustained international support. Even under optimistic projections of double-digit economic growth and substantial external aid, Gaza would still need many decades to regain the basic living standards it had before October 2023.

The report also finds that Gaza’s economy shrank by an unprecedented 87 percent between 2023 and 2024, driving per-capita GDP down to just $161, one of the lowest figures ever recorded globally. Every essential pillar of survival, food, shelter and healthcare, has collapsed, pushing Gaza to what the UN describes as “the edge of total breakdown.”

UNCTAD stresses that the destruction and blockade have generated “one of the ten worst economic crises in the world since 1960.”

The agency calls for an immediate, large-scale international intervention, including coordinated financial assistance, the easing of movement and trade restrictions, the resumption of financial transfers, and the introduction of an emergency basic-income program providing unconditional monthly payments to every person in Gaza.

According to Gaza’s Ministry of Health, whose figures the UN considers reliable, at least 69,756 Palestinians, most of them women and children, have been killed by Israeli airstrikes and ground operations.

The razing of neighborhoods and the collapse of food systems have produced a famine in several areas, while the systematic destruction has ignited overlapping economic, humanitarian, environmental and social disasters.

The report further notes that while the situation in the occupied West Bank has not yet reached the same level of devastation, it is rapidly deteriorating.

Accelerating settler violence, expanding settlements, movement restrictions on workers and sustained Israeli raids have triggered what the UN calls “the worst economic downturn since data collection began in 1972.” Several areas, including al-Khalil, remain under extreme pressure from settler expansion and military incursions.

UNCTAD urges a comprehensive rescue plan to prevent Gaza’s collapse and to ensure that the territory can one day rebuild itself into a livable society.

Al-Qassam Brigades hands over body of Israeli captive as part of Gaza swap deal

Tuesday 25-November-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

The Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of the Hamas Movement, in coordination with Saraya Al-Quds of the Islamic Jihad Movement, delivered the body of an Israeli captive on Tuesday as part of the ceasefire deal with the Israeli side.

The Israeli military confirmed that the body was received via the International Committee of the Red Cross in the central Gaza Strip. The move follows a prior announcement by the Al-Qassam Brigades stating the handover would take place at 4 PM Gaza time.

Yesterday, Al-Quds Brigades revealed that the body of an Israeli captive had been found during field operations in central Gaza, paving the way for the handover that was finalized today.

This step is part of ceasefire deal between Palestinian resistance factions and the Israeli occupation.

As Israeli ceasefire violations persist, three Palestinians proclaimed dead in Gaza

Wednesday 26-November-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

Two Palestinians were killed and others were wounded on Wednesday morning in Israeli attacks east of Khan Younus and in central Gaza, just hours after another citizen died from injuries sustained in an earlier Israeli attack.

A medical source reported that the body of one martyr and a wounded citizen were brought to Nasir Hospital after being targeted by an Israeli quadcopter near El-Farabi School in Bani Suhayla, east of Khan Younus.

In a separate incident, another Palestinian was martyred and others sustained injuries when Israeli forces attacked them in the east of El-Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza.

Earlier, media sources reported that a citizen was pronounced dead after succumbing to wounds he sustained in a previous attack in Bani Suhayla, east of Khan Younus.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) carried out an airstrike on Rafah amid sporadic artillery shelling in the eastern areas of the Strip.

Israeli helicopters also opened machinegun fire east of Khan Younus.

Since the ceasefire took effect on October 10, 2025, the IOFs has committed hundreds of violations across the Gaza Strip, including attacks that killed more than 349 Palestinians and injured hundreds more.

Gaza: Israeli occupatin forces continue to kill civilians, block crucial aid as displaced families face harsh winter conditions

Tuesday 25-November-2025

GAZA, (PIC)

For the 46th consecutive day, the Israeli occupation army has continued to violate the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, where its forces persist in killing civilians and blocking the entry of sufficient and life-saving aid items.

Israeli forces reportedly killed one civilian today in Gaza and still refuse to allow in many vital supplies essential for the survival of displaced families, who are living in vulnerable tents and enduring harsh weather conditions nowadays.

On Tuesday morning, local media reported that one civilian was killed after being targeted by Israeli soldiers east of Khan Yunis, while the army continued to detonate and destroy what remained of residential buildings inside the so‑called yellow line in eastern Gaza.

The Israeli army also carried out aerial and artillery attacks on different areas of the coastal enclave today, while a child sustained injuries last night in an airstrike in western Khan YounusKhan Younus, south of Gaza.

Meanwhile, heavy rains on Tuesday morning flooded dozens of tents sheltering displaced people in E Mawasi area of Khan Younus.

Images showed dozens of displaced families’ tents flooded by rainwater in El-Mawasi area of Khan Younus. Rescue teams were dealing with many affected tents across the encampments after they were inundated in several locations.

The displacement zones turned into pools of water and mud, making movement inside the camps nearly impossible, while water seeped into many tents, threatening the health of families and the safety of their few personal belongings.

The cold weather has increased the suffering of children and elderly people in particular amid a severe shortage of blankets, winter clothing, and heating supplies, further compounding the dire humanitarian situation faced by hundreds of thousands of displaced families.

The torrential rain and chilling winds that have been sweeping through Gaza since Friday highlight the harsh reality that despite a ceasefire agreement that went into effect last month, life remains far from normal for the enclave’s two million people.

A Palestinian resistance fighter was reportedly martyred on Monday night following armed clashes with Israeli forces who encircled a house he was inside in Nablus City, north of the occupied West Bank.

In a statement, the Israeli occupation army claimed its forces assassinated 'Abdul-Ra-ouf Ishtiyya, who carried out a car-ramming operation that killed two soldiers one and a half years ago at the 'Awarta checkpoint east of Nablus.

According to the army radio, Ishtiyya was killed after Israeli forces bombed a house in the city’s Amman street with two projectiles.

Local sources said that the Israeli army kidnaped two young men from the western area of Nablus City, without providing further details.

Two Palestinians injured in Israeli assaults on Shu'fat Refugee Camp, Tammoun

Wednesday 26-November-2025

WEST BANK, (PIC)

A Palestinian young man was injured on Wednesday evening by Israeli gunfire during a military raid on Shu'fat refugee camp, north of El-Quds (occupied Jerusalem).

According to the Jerusalem Governorate, Israeli forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets at civilians near the camp entrance, leaving a young man injured who was taken to hospital for medical treatment.

Shu'fat camp is frequently subjected to Israeli incursions and assaults, often accompanied by violent confrontations amid heavy fire of live and rubber bullets, as part of an ongoing escalation targeting the camp’s residents on a daily basis.

In a separate incident, Israeli occupation forces also arrested an injured person from inside an ambulance at the entrance to the town of Tammoun, south of Tubas, in the northern West Bank.

Medical sources with the Red Crescent reported that the occupation forces arrested a wounded individual from inside an ambulance at the entrance of Tammoun. He was injured after being beaten in the town.

At the same time, Israeli forces stormed the town of 'Aqraba, south of Nablus, in the northern West Bank, and fired tear gas in the Bani Jabir area, sparking violent clashes with no injuries reported.

The West Bank is witnessing an unprecedented surge in settler and Israeli occupation forces attacks against Palestinians, resulting in the killing of at least 1,076 people, the injury of around 10,700, and the arrest of more than 20,500 during the two years of the genocidal war in Gaza.

PPS: Israeli forces detain 60 residents in Tubas, turn homes into military outposts

Wednesday 26-November-2025

WEST BANK, (PIC)

The Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) announced that Israeli occupation forces detained around 60 residents at dawn on Wednesday during a large-scale raid in the Toubas governorate. Those detained include children, families of martyrs, and former prisoners.

In a statement issued today, the PPS explained that the occupation forces carried out extensive vandalism and destruction affecting infrastructure, while soldiers turned several civilian homes into military outposts used for their deployment during the operation.

Toubas has been under continuous, wide-ranging assault since midnight, with large numbers of Israeli troops supported by heavy military bulldozers taking part in the attack, increasing both the scale of destruction and the breadth of targets.

The PPS noted that since the beginning of 2025, the Israeli occupation forces have detained nearly 330 residents from the Toubas governorate, marking an unprecedented escalation in detention operations. This escalation parallels similar developments in Jineen and Toulkarm as Israel continues its intensive military campaign across the northern West Bank.

IOFs kidnap several Palestinians from their homes in the West Bank

Wednesday 26-November-2025

WEST BANK, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) kidnapped a number of Palestinian citizens following raids in different West Bank areas last night and at dawn Wednesday.

According to local sources, the IOFs kidnapped two citizens after ransacking their homes in Tammun town, south of Toubas.

Earlier, Palestinian media sources said that the IOFs kidnapped and detained several citizens after raiding their homes in Toubas City and nearby towns after midnight.

In Nablus, the IOFs raided multiple homes in Yaseed town, northeast of Nablus, and kidnapped three local young men.

In Bait La'hm (Bethlehem), one citizen was taken prisoner following a violent IOFs raid on his home in El-'Asakra village.

In El-Khaleel (Hebron), the Israeli occupation forces kidnapped two young men from El-Fawwar refugee camp and Soureef town.

The IOFs also carried out raids in other areas of El-Khaleel (Hebron) Province, where they reportedly assaulted some residents, closed roads, and set up checkpoints.

IOFs demolish shops south of El-Khaleel (Hebron), and seals entire area

Wednesday 26-November-2025

El-Khaleel (Hebron), (PIC)

Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) carried out a new wave of demolitions on Wednesday morning, targeting several commercial shops between the towns of El-Ramadin and El-Dthahiriya in the southern El-Khaleel (Hebron) Governorate. Troops imposed a full military lockdown around the area as bulldozers began tearing down the structures.

According to a reporter from Sanad News Agency, IOFs machinery demolished the shops located at the entrance of El-Ramadeen along the road leading to Al-Dhahiriya. The businesses had previously received demolition notices from Israeli occupation authorities.

During the operation, IOFs sealed the main access road to the commercial area and barred owners from approaching their properties. Soldiers also set up a military checkpoint and enforced a complete security cordon around the site.

Local residents noted that Israeli authorities have issued dozens of demolition warnings over recent months to business owners along the same road, many of which have already been executed as part of a systematic campaign against the area.

Residents say the demolitions form part of a broader policy of deliberate economic strangulation, including Israel’s closure of the El-Dthahiriya crossing and its ban on Palestinian citizens of Israel from entering the town. The restrictions have sharply reduced commercial activity.

Around 1,500 businesses in the area depend heavily on customers from Palestinian communities inside the Green Line, particularly visitors from the Negev. Israeli measures blocking their entry have forced many shop owners to shut down and lose their main source of income.

Israeli army launches major military operation in Tubas province

Wednesday 26-November-2025

TUBAS, (PIC)

The Israeli occupation army announced on Wednesday morning the launch of a large-scale military operation in the northern West Bank city of Toubas and the nearby towns of Tammoun, Tayaseer and 'Aqqaba, saying its presence in the area could last for several days.

According to local officials and media sources, a large number of Israeli troops with bulldozers stormed Tubas City and other towns in the province and pillaged several homes, amid helicopter and drone overflights.

Israeli bulldozers also started to destroy roads and block entrances with mounds of dirt and debris, while helicopters reportedly opened fire intermittently to cause panic among the local residents.

As a result of this Israeli military activity, local schools and kindergartens in Tubas and other targeted areas had to suspend the educational process until further notice.

Local sources reported that the operation involved intensive overflights of Apache helicopters and reconnaissance aircraft, which opened machinegun fire from the air.

The sources added that the Israeli occupation forces (IOFs) blocked main roads in the entire Tubas province with mounds of dirt and rocks, isolating it from other West Bank areas.

The IOFs also started carrying out violent raids on homes, detaining citizens, and preventing ambulances from moving in the province’s streets, sparking fears among residents about their safety and freedom of movement.

Some families reported being forced to leave their homes at gunpoint to make way for Israeli soldiers to use them as military barracks.

The Toubas governor said the Israeli army declared a curfew in his governorate starting at 4:00 a.m. today until further notice.

The Israeli army has justified its operation by claiming it is a preemptive move against alleged terrorism.

Meanwhile, governor Ahmed al-Asaad affirms that there are no wanted persons in his governorate, warning that the Israeli regime seeks to impose a new military fait accompli in the West Bank.

Guterres: Establishing a Palestinian state is a right that cannot be relinquished

Wednesday 26-November-2025

NEW YORK, (PIC)

United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres affirmed that the Palestinian people possess the full right to dignity, justice, and self-determination, just like all other peoples of the world, stressing that the establishment of a Palestinian state is a right that cannot be waived.

His remarks came in a message delivered at the special meeting marking the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, read by his Chief of Staff, Courtenay Rattray. In the message, he called for an end to the illegal occupation of Palestinian territories, noting that Gaza has suffered over the past two years from Israeli aggression that resulted in the killing of more than 70,000 people and the injury of hundreds of thousands, alongside near-total destruction of infrastructure, widespread hunger, disease, and psychological trauma.

He added that residents of the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, have faced harsh conditions due to Israeli military operations, settler violence, settlement expansion, and forced evictions and demolitions.

Guterres considered the ceasefire agreement reached in October a glimmer of hope, pointing out that the Security Council’s adoption of a resolution on Gaza was an important step to reinforce this path. He praised the efforts of mediators, particularly Egypt, Qatar, Türkiye, and the United States, and urged all parties to fully adhere to the agreement and turn diplomatic momentum into tangible and swift progress on the ground.

He stressed the urgent need for humanitarian aid to reach Gaza without obstacles and on a wide scale, affirming that Israel’s obligations are clear according to the International Court of Justice. He called on member states to support the urgent appeal to raise $4 billion for the occupied Palestinian territory.

Guterres highlighted that UNRWA remains a lifeline for millions of Palestinians, urging the international community to support its work in the West Bank, Gaza, and all areas hosting Palestinian refugees.

He noted that the number of journalists killed in the past two years is higher than in any conflict since World War II, the vast majority of them Palestinians, in addition to an unprecedented number of humanitarian workers killed, most of them UN and UNRWA staff.

He concluded by saying that achieving justice for Palestine is a defense of rights and laws everywhere, stressing that the United Nations will not retreat from its commitment to the Palestinian people and their right to self-determination, and calling for international solidarity to be translated into concrete action that revives the olive tree and strengthens hope for the future.

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

"Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul, unless for a soul, or for corruption in the land, it is as if he had killed humankind entirely" (The Holy Quran, Al-Ma-ida, 5: 32).

"And whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell, wherein he will abide eternally, and Allah has become angry with him, and has cursed him, and has prepared for him a great torment" (Al-Nisa, 4: 93).

"If you do good, you do good for yourselves; and if you do evil, (you do it) to yourselves. Then, when the latter (final) promise came, they (your enemies) will sadden your faces, and to enter the Masjid (in Jerusalem), as they entered it the first time, and will destroy what they had taken over with (total) destruction (Al-Isra, 17: 7).

While brutal force has been used to create Zionist Israel and sustain it thus far, Zionist claims to Palestine are false. Actually, from the five thousand years of known written human history, there has been a continuous Palestinian-Canaanite presence in the Holy Land. Despite the Zionist false claims, the ancient Israelites ruled part of the land for only 85 years (during the reign of Prophets David and Solomon , peace be upon them, and Solomon's son).

After that, the Egyptians conquered Palestine-Canaan in 925 BC, followed by Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans, before the Arab Muslim rule, starting from 636 AD.

By the Time Jesus, peace be upon him, started his mission, the three population groups of Canaanites, Palestinians, and Israelites were melted together in religion and language. Most of them became Christians when Constantine converted in 313 AD. Then, most of them became Muslims in the 7th and 8th centuries AD.

So, Palestinian Muslims, Christians, and Jews are the ones who have the right to claim descent from ancient Israelites, Palestinians, and Canaanites, not Zionists from other continents.

No matter what the Zionists and their supporters do, they cannot change the will of God, Who promised the Holy Land to Abraham and his descendants, basically the Palestinian Muslims and Christians.

No matter how much persecution and aggression the Zionists and their supporters inflict upon the Palestinian people, they will never be able to force them out of the Holy Land, which Allah, praise to Him, promised for them, and kept His promise ever since.

This is a necessary brief background to understand the US-Backed Zionist Israeli continuous wars against the Arab nation generally, and the Palestinian people in particular, which included the wars of 1948, 1956, 1967, 1978, 1982, the brutal crushing of the two Uprisings (1987-1993 and 2000-2004), 2009, 2012, 2014, 2021, and the current genocidal war on Gaza (Since October 7, 2023), which has culminated a blockade of Gaza since 2007. In addition, the Israeli occupation and apartheid regime launched so many covert operations, raids, and air strikes on many Arab states since 1948.

The following news stories are just examples, not a systematic record, of the Israeli occupation government abuse, mistreatment, and violations of Palestinian human rights, on daily basis.

Editorial Notes about terms & names of people and places:

1. Names of people and places have been standardized to match standard Arabic grammatical rules.

2. Underlined letters and letters preceded by an apostrophe are references to Arabic letter sounds, which does not exist in the English alphabet.

3. The English letter i is equivalent to the Arabic short vowel known as kasra, as in Ibraheem and Qasim as well as in the English words sit and bit. So, it is incorrect to use it as a long vowel for such Arabic names as Jameel and Jibreel.

4. The English letter e is equivalent to the Arabi short vowel known as fat'ha, as in A'hmed and Mu'hammed.

5. It is more accurate to refer to the
land-grabbing Israelis, who establish illegal settlements in the Palestinian territory of the West Bank, as illegal Israeli settlers, than referring to them as colonists.

The term colony is a reference to a large entity or a country, such as American states before independence. It was also a reference to Egypt, and India, when they were British colonies.

In addition, the term "colony" represents a positive nostalgic theme, in the minds of native speakers of English, particularly in America and Britain.

6. It is more accurate to use the verbs "abduct" and "kidnap" than the verbs "detain" and "arrest," in reference to taking Palestinian citizens by force to prisons and interrogation centers, by Israeli occupation regime soldiers. This is because the presence of the Israeli occupation regime forces is illegal in the Palestinian territories, and they have no jurisdiction over the Palestinian people.
